Beginning Spinning (All Day) ~ Deb Jones

Description

Learn to turn wool into your own yarns! You’ll try many different spinning wheels during the class, learn the basic techniques to spin a single yarn, and create a two-ply finished skein. We’ll also talk about using handspun yarns for knitting. No previous spinning experience required. This all-day workshop is designed for the person who has never tried spinning before! Spinning wheels will be provided.

• $20.00 , payable to teacher
• covers a generous supply of spinning fiber, spinning wheel rental, and all equipment use. 
• If students bring their own spinning wheel, it must be in excellent operating condition and completely assembled. No antique wheels.
